The Arslanagić Bridge is a 80 m long and 6 m high Ottoman bridge built originally in 1574 by order of the Grand Vizier Sokollu Mehmed Pasha, and rebuiltP in 1972 in the city of Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The bridge was an important trading link over the Trebišnjica river between Novi (Herceg Novi in Montenegro) and Ragusa (Dubrovnik in Croatia).

Today’s prayer focus is Bosnia and Herzegovina. This beautiful and diverse land is still recovering from the devastating civil war of the 1990s. From the 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World guide, “Pray that God’s love and forgiveness would break through the bitterness, suspicion, unforgiveness and prejudice that still lingers in Bosnia, over 20 years after the war.”
