Luke and Jamie Ulrich have been stationed in Malawi for the past three years, working with children and young adults, developing curriculum for preschools and Sunday Schools and working with the Grace of God Orphanage in Lilongwe. The business they started — GOGO Sauces – is now profitable and Malawian run and provides funding for the orphanage.
Along the shores of Lake Malawi there are ministry opportunities with a particular unreached people group. In 2018, the Lord gave Global Teams Malawi a vision of a building in this area — Hope House — where children can come and be loved on in tangible ways and learn about the love of Jesus Christ. The Ulrichs and other field partners are starting a new venture – a sausage making business – that will fund Hope House. By involving local Malawians and starting up new business ventures, Hope House will be sustainable for decades.
Global Teams sends field partners from all over the world to the most remote locations in the world with the goal of “seeing the heart of Christ in the skin of every culture.” Now, with a $60,500 matching grant made possible by our Board of Directors, your gift can do twice as much.
