Happy New Year! We posted a lot of news in December 2017 – Bill’s thoughts on Advent and Boxing Day, as well as an update on how ARDF relief donations have been used. Now we want to hear from you! Do you find these communications helpful? What else would you like to know?
In 2018, we at ARDF are looking forward to many things. We will receive final reports from several of our projects, including the completion of preschool classrooms in Paraguay. Expanded space will allow the church to expand its preschool to enroll more students – and will create a space for activities that reach out to the community like a Saturday Bible Study. To date, the project is on time and on budget and we look forward to getting a full evaluation of the impact soon.
We will receive progress reports from our recent projects, including as the Nambale Magnet School, where a new breed of chicken, along with better education, will allow local farmers to be competitive in the market and thus economically secure.
Currently, we are sending potential projects into research, to determine if they warrant coming before the Global Trustees for a vote at the October 2018 meeting.
In early 2018 we will also unveil a new website, one that will hopefully make it easier for you to find, read, and share the stories we receive from the field.
We wish you a Happy New Year. Consider partnering with us and sharing in our excitement for all God is doing around the world.
